Beady Eye's Gem Archer is out of the hospital, but he won't be taking the stage any time soon.

The band announced Thursday that they've canceled their performance at the U.K.'s V Festival, originally scheduled to take place August 17th and 18th.  Liam Gallagher and company have also regretfully canceled all of their remaining August appearances.

They explain that they feel they cannot perform without Archer and would rather "focus on supporting him throughout his recovery."

The guitarist suffered severe head trauma in an accident on August 1st.  He was released from the hospital Wednesday evening, but remains under observation while he recovers at home.
